I know it might be a bit strange to ask this on a competing website, but does anyone know what happened to the yamahajetboaters.com forum? For quite some time now it has been showing a message of "Board is Currently Disabled for Maintenance" and none of the discussion links are working. Did they shut things down? I appreciate this website and just wonder if the additional wealth of information from the other one is gone forever.

There was a similar message displayed when this forum was created back in 2014

I used to be an admin for that forum and started this one with Bruce when the forum operator started banning people he didn't like. He's also done nothing to update the forum in years, so my guess is it reached a point where it was no longer technically supported and was auto disabled. Since he really does nothing with it, he's probably not noticed that its disabled. Sad but true.

Bruce even offered to convert the whole forum to our forum for a price as we didn't want to lose the content over there but he wanted nothing to do with us. I copied over the majority of my content, and so did many of the long time members.

We run this forum with multiple admins and moderators and are as transparent as we can be about its operation. We haven't had any member issues in years (thankfully- as dealing with troublesome members sucks!) and are delighted to provide a place for jetboaters to share information. We've remained ad free since opening, although we have often discussed putting some ads in to offset the hosting and forum software costs.

I started out on that site but someone messaged me via PM and recommended this site as well. It's too bad that some knowledge may be lost but it's way more active and friendly over here.
