I upgraded my tires to 15" this weekend so have the original shorelander 14" chrome rims available to anybody who might want them. They are not perfect but there's nothing wrong with them that I know of.
This will be easy for me since it's free for you. If you're in Houston I go to Humble every month to see my mom, I'll be in AR in Sept and could be tempted to go to OK for a skeet or trap shooting invitation.
I pull with an old diesel dually so I don't ever really know anything is back there either because of the noise or the power and my boat ramp is only about 3 miles away, I went with the question of what's my cheapest option to get out of here but knowing I was going to end up replacing all the tires and knowing I had a 5 hour tow to Arkansas in the near future, I'm a firm believer in spending a little more upfront is much better than sitting on the side of the road.
Great.read! I was thinking of upping mine anyway since it looks like the trailer could use some work or if I could find a nice used painted trailer! I don't care for the galvanized trailer much. Winter projects I guess.
you have to be careful with the fenders, the larger wheels "almost" touch the fender on mine, since my painted trailer is already rusting I took a crowbar and slightly bent the lip of the fenders out to give it more clearance,
