Does anyone know the output of the 2016 1.8L motor generator? Looking to find the amp output for a possible addition of a dc battery charger for trolling motor batteries while running the main motor on my FSH. Ive searched all over and cant find the info. Before I buy some new tools to find this I figured Id ask.

Don't know but it charges up the batteries pretty quick after blasting tunes all day on the water!

Someone should get a meter on that though.

I don't know the exact rating. Must say seems pretty darn good (for a stator) on the 1.8l. The definitive way to tell would be hook up a $20 current meter on the ouput of rectifier/regulator and make sure you have a large draw. Once you have the reading you could then install after the house battery switch to monitor watt useage if that is a concern.

I don't know on the 1.8s but I believe it's more amps than on the MR1s. With all the additional electronics they put on the boats these days, I'd hope its more juice than the MR1s put out.
