Wish I woulda read this tip before I did my first oil change....... I had some choice words for the brainiacs who engineered this jem.....
punch a hole in top of filter for it to drain back into sump per service manualI recently did the 10 hour oil change and honestly it wasn't that hard. I'm old and out of shape and it was 100 degrees out, so it was a struggle for me. I had to get a large wrench for the oil filters since they had King Kong crank them down at the factory. Just make sure to put a rag or puppy pad under the filter when you take it off. Also make sure to run the engine a few minutes before removing the oil to make is more viscous (?).
