hey mine does the same goes great then sticks at 10 or so rpms.. did you figure the problem out? Reading peoples comments about pulling and cleaning gas tank.

I assume that these were working before? Or have they never gone right? When you say 'straight down' what do you mean? Like the buckets are down? (do you have buckets on a Jetstar?)

When i bought mine a week ago i put new gas and oil mixture 50:1 seemed to run alot better but now losing power again meaning the throttle handle is all the way forward for full speed and it limps by and stays at 10 rpms where full throttle is usually 30rpms

Any cavitation? Is the engine turning the same RPM and the boat slowing? Or are the RPMs dropping?

Rpms go from 30 all the way down and wont go past 10 then rpms rev higher then lower.. have a slow oil leak from behind the carbs are connected to engine think gasket is no good are those easy to repair

Did you swap out all of the gas? Clean out the tank?

Seems like 50:1 is right (from what I have seen). And if it runs a higher RPMs periodically, that means mechanically things must be ok (valves, piston rings, etc.). And probably the electrical as well. That leaves fuel...

Your oil leak is not getting into the fuel flow or air intake, is it?
