I have a buddy looking at a '14 AR240 that appears to be in very good shape. The engines have 66 hours and the owner is asking $38k. That is close to NADA but I know there are folks with much more market experience than me on here. Anyone actively shopping that can offer some feedback on that? Includes cover, life jackets and coast guard kit. Market is northern Ohio.

That pricing seems about correct. If I was your buddy though I would keep shoping and look for a 2015 model he could probably pick one up for only about 2-4K more then that in about a month and the upgrade is worth that.
 
I would have to agree with Robert.... if you can get the 2015 model you will better off.
