190 fsh speedo failing

Hey guys, picked up a new to me used 190 fsh sport last week and speedo has already failed on me. It was working first time or two out and quit working (reading 0.0 under way) while on the water at some point. Freed the paddle when I got it out and it was still not working when I dunked it again the next day. Even got in the water to spin the paddle while I was out and immediately got under way and still wasn’t working.

Thoughts/similar experiences/suggestions?

@bchopkins ......friend and I both have Yamama JBs. His speedo "failed" but it was some debris caught in the speedo wheel well. He cleaned that out and all was good. I have seen some weeds get caught in mine and cleared them but have not had a fail yet.

My speedometer just quit on my sx190. The wheel spins easily.
