After having my reverse cable replaced after binding up and no longer actuating the bucket for reverse I now have more issues. I am having very little forward power. When I can get up to speed the slightest turn dumps the boats momentum throwing the boat out of its plain. When I am holding a straight line it sounds like the bucket is smacking the water making a thumping sound. I also have noticed a slight rooster tail. Finally a new development since the reverse was fixed is when in neutral the boat pushes rewards unlike before it would move ever so slightly forward. What says you?

Sounds like you cable was not adjusted. When the throttle is forward the bucket will lift all the way up and will lock. The lock prevents it from coming down. Should it come down while on plane or turning it will knock you off plane. Turning puts more pressure on the bucket.

Dean. Thats what I was thinking. Sucks that the weekend I am having the issue is this weekend!

Bought a 2003 Sportster SeaDoo. I’m having trouble when I turn the shifter wants to jump out of forward.
The bucket is locked in. I’m having trouble finding anyone else with the problem. .
