195s wake tower lanyard

Hey all!

Been reading for a while and just joined after getting my first jet boat! Lots of good info here and figured I’d post this question to see if someone could help me

When I fold the wake tower down - both the lanyards are loose / not secured at all and I do not want it resting on the side or window.

I found under each side back seat storage a rubber piece as well as one metal washer on the port side.

I’m assuming it’s at least one if not two metal washers I need.

Does anyone have a picture of what the lanyard setup should look like so I can go to the shop and get the required missing pieces ?

No pic but I believe there should be the rubber washer, flanked by metal washers and then the jamb nuts

Perfect thanks! That’s what I thought but wanted to be sure.

Such a tight fit getting hand up there to attach the washers and bolts! Ha

anybody ever have to replace the rubber lanyards? If so, where did you find them? OEM? upgrade from rubber?

edit: I should be more specific, the lanyards that hold the knobs. not the lanyards that aid in raising the tower.

On ours the missing washers and were in the back of the boat for both sides, the nuts I never found but I replaced them with nyloc nuts.

The port side is pretty easy the starboard is not as its a bit tight.

For both you basically have to contort yourself in there to put the nuts and washers back, I suggest either using the nyloc nuts or regular nuts with Loctite.
