Hi everyone. I picked up a 2020 242X this spring.. This is the only the second boat I have ever owned with the other one being a mid 1980's Bayliner back in the mid 1990s. I had never even ridden in a jet boat before I purchased this 242X. I had been looking for a year and well like everyone here knows buying a boat today is a a bit wild.
Anyway we have put 40 hours on it so far this summer and love it. Handling around the dock seems easy with the two engines. Learning to surf has been a blast for all of us and much easier on the body then skiing. I need to research more on using the head/helm area for storage. I boat mainly on a river and having the clean out ports is a must because of debris.
