Open the bubble windshield in front of the bucket seat. There is a T-handle there to pull. That will release the rear deck.

If you are doing this alone, you can give the T-handle a quarter turn twist to lock it open, then go back and pull up on the sun deck. The assists may have worn out and not pushing up on the deck. Or the cable may have broken and not unlocking the deck. Either way, start with the T-handle.

The sun deck lifts from the front, so reach down by the Ski pole and lift. It lifts up while you are kneeling on the three rear seats. Anyone on the swimdeck, will more than likely get pushed off into the water, so be careful of that.

Good luck!

PS: Be sure to go back and give it a quarter turn in the reverse direction to reset the locking mechanism. Otherwise the sundeck may lift while under way or on the highway.
