I purchased a replacement key assembly set from Yamaha. Part F1C-U8036-02-00. Unfortunately my boat sustained burn damage in a house fire and was totaled before the assembly was installed. Our local dealer charges over $100 per assembly. Will sell the set of 2 for $175.

I'm interested if you're flexible on price. I was considering buying 2 of the single assemblies and having them keyed alike, but if we can meet in the middle you've got a deal.

I've rechecked the pricing on these and Yamaha is now at $229. I've got one offer of $150, plus they would cover the postage. I'd really like to get $175. But am willing to bend a little if you go over the $150 offer that is currently on the table.

Thank you for the opportunity to beat their price. Functionally the paired kit isn't any different than these assemblies: Amazon.com: Ignition Switch Assembly Fits for Yamaha Outboard Motors, 703-82510-44-00 703-82510-43-00 703-82510-42-00 703-82510-11-00, Main Key Remote Control Box Ignition: Industrial & Scientific which range from $25-$30 on amazon and ebay. The only difference is the plug connector would need to be wired. I would be willing to pay around $100 for the matching pair already wired, but $175 is too much.

If you change your mind please let me know. Otherwise good luck with the sale.

You're lucky to be skilled enough to handle the rewire! Thanks for your inquiry.

Thank you for sharing this !. I actually was the $150 offer but, haven't heard back from stacy yet. This might be the cost effective way to go.

It’s definitely cheaper, you’ll just have to cut the plug off the old ones and then add connectors to the wiring so you can use it with the new ignition switches. So it’s cheaper, but a little more work.
