2008 232 Limited. The startboard engine won't crank unless I wiggle the throttle, back and forth, while turning the key. It starts up immediately and runs fine when I find the sweetspot! Is the problem with the right throttle or somewhere back at the engine bay? Thanks, Rick

neutral safety switch

The OEM switch is NOT cheap, but if you get the old one out first, and take it to an electronics supply house to find the generic replacement (and reuse the harness, the switch is standard, but the wiring harness will be unique), you can go from $50+ for the OEM to $10 or under, depending on your luck.

sometimes it may just need adjusting

Okay, if it thinks it is not in neutral, it won't crank. Makes sense to me. Where is it? Thanks, Rick

It's Inside the FNR binacle.
