I have a completely stock 2013 212x and looking to add some ballast to the boat. I looked into upgrading the current bags, getting another bag for the center hull locker, and just getting a large bag to sit on the floor in front of the curved seating in the back but have not decided which will allow me to add the most ballast. I was wondering if the Ronix Eight.3 telescope 1100lb bag would fit on the floor of the boat? Also do you think the 800lb bag of the same style would fit in the center locker? I think my best bet is to grab the big 1100 lb bag if it will fit on the floor. The dimensions on it are 50'L x 26' W x 24' H. The dimensions of the 800lb bag are 50'L x 22' W x 20' H. Thanks

For the 800, check out the Sumo Sac 800 center locker sac. It's like 18 x 18 by 65. I use on under my port side seat in my SX210.

I'm pretty set on the ronix bags, they're definitely the best ones out there.

I have the 800 and 400 in the ronix... Sadly haven't got to test them out... Give me another month and I can let you know lol

Where are you planning to place them in your boat?

800 in ski locker, 400 on surf side... Or I may just run the 800 surf side, depending on people on the boat and how I like the wake. Will be experimenting this summer, sadly I won't get the boat in the water until may to even see the fit while full

I really wish there were companies that made specific bags for the 212x like they do for the other wakeboarding boats. I want to get the 1100 lb bag and 800lb bag but i don't know if the 1100 will even fit across the back floor area and I'm not really sure if you will be able to fill the 800 all the way in the floor locker either. :( There has to be someone else out there with a 212x upgraded ballast system, but I have found nothing searching online.

@bobbie got some custom bags made for each storage locker... With pumps run to each bag on either side... Approx 1100 each side I think... Wakemakers should have it on file to build them again if you rather go the built in method.

Wakemakers can build any bag you want. You just need to provide dimensions. I had a custom bag built for my rear port side compartment that was estimated at 1,350lbs. Wakemakers is great to work with as well. Very good customer service.

@Kris DeVito Call wakemakers. they did a scan of a 212X last fall and made my custom bags i just had installed. huge difference between stock and these bags. i tried to use the old pump and add a new wakemaker pump but had to order another pump. the old stock one was no match for these beasts! i can now run them independently and get a huge wake!

can you post pics on the set up for dual pumps?

@Kris DeVito what exactly are you trying to get your boat to do? Wake surf or wake board?
