So I did a long boat ride the other day up on lake Nipissing in Ontario, Canada. A total of 158 km (98 miles).
At 45 kph (32 mph), I burned 67 litres (17.7 US gallons) and this is with the base model with the 150HP engine.
That means:
2.35 km per litre (5.61 miles per US gallon)
19.14L per hour (5 US gallons)
Based on a 75.7L tank (20 US gallons), that gives me a range of approximately 176 km (109 miles).
The advertised fuel consumption is 4 GPH at 28 mph and I did 5 GPH. Considering I'm going about 4 mph faster, not too bad! This included pretty smooth water, 2 adults in the boat + normal gear like lunch, anchor, clothes, tools, etc.
Thought it was worth reporting, not sure how many people do such long rides with the small 165 and always good to know how things compare in real world conditions vs advertised.
