My gas gauge seems to differ from time to time. For example wife fills tank and goes out on Sunday and uses a 1/4 tank. I take the boat out Monday and after half the day it shows it still has only used a 1/4 tank (I full throttled everywhere we went). The last hour I am out it falls from 3/4 to 1/4 all of a sudden. We have noticed this type of thing a few times this year (first year with the boat). Haven't had the balls to see how it responds all the way to empty yet.
Do you think I have a stuck float or bad sensor? It is the norm with these boats? If it is a bad float / sensor (whatever they use). I would hope that its easy to get to and replace considering the tank is exposed under the hatch. Of course that is just hopeful thinking.
