2015 Scarab 165 FAST Oil Leak 4-TEC 150:
Oil pressure alarm under load (heavy load). Idled OK for 10 minute ride home, no alarm, drove up on floating dock. Alarm activated on revving to move up onto dock.
Found engine compartment/floor full of oil.
Oil dipstick - NO OIL.
Using Valvoline synthetic 4-stroke.
Added a quart of oil and ran/flushed motor for 45 seconds and watched for leak. OIL LEAKED OUT, but can't find source in that short period.
Don't want to run again. Would like to locate issue while on floating dock.
ANY SUGGESTIONS?
Also, I noticed a harness connection (orange plastic) at bow/port-side of motor not connected to anything.

What did you find? Oil filter loose?

I'm looking in FAQ's. Check this....

Very hard for people to help you on a computer. You just have to chase where the leak is coming from like you're doing. Just keep the engine run time short like you are. Give it a cool down period in between 45 sec runs.

Also, that Valvoline, is it the JASO-MA or MA2 certified oil? Because that's what you need. Alternative is the older semi synthetic XPS oil. I hope it's one of those. Not sure what that would do if it isn't but it could cause some damage otherwise.

Just an idea: clean the room, put white paper every where (with painting tape).
Start the engine 5 secondes and look were you have oil, if not enough 10 sec...
It could give you the area for the leak...:(
