Hey all! Looking for some expert opinions. I have a 2015 SX210 with a few hundred hours. When flushing this summer the port engine alarm went off and said Batt Voltage. Figured I got 5 years or so out of battery time to replace it as I got a good life out of last one. I replaced it and all was well but a few trips after I started getting the same message every time I flush port engine after a weekend of fun. Everything is wired good to the new battery. Thoughts?

Spoke to Yamaha on the phone and they said it might be the charging circuit which is like the alternator for cars but the charging circuit would be what is charging the battery? Is this a DIY? Take to dealership?

I am guessing you sold your boat before you resolved this?

I am having a similar issue on my starboard engine. Voltage will be in the 14.6-7 range and then shoot up to 16.8-9.

Does anyone have any thoughts? This occurs with bath my old battery and my new battery. Only on the starboard engine.

Yeah it’s sold. Dealer said it may just be a code that needed resetting. I think they fixed it on mine before I sold it when they did the inspection of the boat with report and fixed a few things before I sold it. Hope you get it figured out.

Thanks for the update.

I think I will be creating a new thread shortly, as I’m figuring it must be something with the charging system/stator for the voltage to spike.
