I am a new owner of a 2015 SX240 this Summer and I am also somewhat new to boating. This forum has been great at answering questions and the members are genuinely nice. However, I have to post my first issue and any help would be appreciated. I had a dead battery the other day. No big deal. I charged both batteries and hooked everything back up. After doing so, the touch screen on the connext screen will no longer work by touch. I can use it fine by the joystick and the actual buttons surrounding the screen. However, the screen itself is no longer able to control by tapping.

Any ideas? Also, I apologize in advance if this is something super obvious or a bad question. Thanks.

I have a 2015 242 Limited S, no dead battery issues however my screen does not work, no touch screen working just like yours newboatermatt. Not sure if my 5 year warranty will cover this.

I would like to bump this thread... My connex system is doing the same thing, as mentioned after reinstalling batteries. Is there a setting for touch screen that maybe gets set to off when disconnected? Any help would be great... System is fine using the buttons and joystick

First time out this season and ours is not working either. No battery change or dead battery either. Not sure what happened to it.

I pull both batteries every winter and reinstall in spring. Never had an issue with mine. (2015 SX240) double check the how the wires are attached to the batteries. There is a small red wire that should go to the positive of the " House battery" I believe it controls the connect system, I say house because I leave house turned on when floating for stereo to work.

I labeled all mine before disconnecting. will check tonight, I think I made a quick schematic of the wiring. If I did, and can find it will post it.
