We had a Bimini top made over the winter as our boat we purchased last year didn’t have one. Can someone post a pic of their boats Bimini top? I thought it would attach to the existing pin things on the tower but they put new on.

The factory bimini frame has ball sockets that slip into those stainless retainers and lock in to place. No straps are used on the factory setup:
