2016 Scarab 215 HO impulse -check engine

The check engine light came on so we checked coolant and oil levels. All good. Took the boat out yesterday and the port side motor did not want to start. Get a low battery warning. (We have two batteries). Had batteries checked and port side is at 69% but still good. Starboard is at 79% also still good (according to AutoZone). I was able to get it started but took about 5 tries. Also Seems to be surging a low speed (you can feel it but not see on the RMPs). Any thoughts or suggestions. TIA!!

Start by getting the check engine code. When the light is active, you can find the code in the settings. If it's active upon startup, it may flash on your screen. Either way, it would be the most useful piece of info to help you.

TY for your quick reply. I’ve only owned this boat a few months. How do I get to the code in the settings? I tried hitting Mode and holding mode. Never flashed a code

Mode to cycle through options. IF there's an active fault code, then one of them will indicate that. Use Set button to select. See attached image.
