All,
I have a 2016 FX HO and just received a recall from Yamaha not sure if others have about a possible faulty fuel connector from pump on top of tank. I think a few of us have these and just wanted to spread the word. The only numbers for reference are 990107 and USCG No: 16009T
It is for the connector at top of fuel pump that has the clip around the connector, they said if the you can lightly tug on connector and it stays put you are okay also clip is seated.
If you pull and it comes loose or clip is not seated it needs to go to the dealer.
@veedubtek I know you have the cruiser so you may be affected just a heads up.
If needed I'll post the diagram they sent to check to clarify. Pretty simple I think.
