2017 242 S - screen issues - "boot mode" help

I have a Yamaha 242 limited s e series. When I went to put the boat in the water this past week, the display screen come up with "boot mode" - that's is just a blank screen and the words boot mode.
I took it to my local dealer and they have never seen this before. They recommended to try a new display unit. Well, there are none available, so I'm really in a hard spot.

Has anyone ever seen "boot mode" screen and how do we fix it? Any help or ideas would be much appreciated!

No, I'm still waiting on the part. It's terrible. June 10 is the ETA right now. I'm just buying a new screen and see if that fixes it. The weird thing is the service guys at Yahama have never seen this.

How did they happen to send you an extra screen? How much are you looking to get for it?
