Just got my 2017 Scarab 195 HO Platinum Edition. Awesome machine! Incredibly beautiful boat - boy does it gets the stares and compliments at the launch sites.
Differences - there is a new paint scheme for the Platinum Edition, different type kicker radio, different engine lay out for the intercooler, catalytic converter and other minor changes.
One thing to note; Scarabs web site boasts that the 1.5L with supercharger and intercooler produces 250 HP. Something doesn't seem to add up. Bombardier states this engine configuration will produce 179 kw of work. If you do the math that equates to 240hp - interesting.
Similar situation with the boat model ID. Scarab labels it as a "195" leading you to believe that its 19 feet 6 inches. The Scarab 195 is actually 18 feet 10 inches but its still a very roomy boat for its class with lots of clever storage. I'll be posting a video walk thru shortly.
