2017 Scarab 255 Impulse With no reverse or neutral

Hello everyone I'm new here. Yesterday I tried to reverse into a visitors dock and realized I had no reverse. Then I realized I had no neutral as well. I had the boat hoisted out of the water so I could see if anything was lodged or any visual damage. Didn't find either. I started the boat and placed it in reverse and saw the pump/valve thing on the port side engine compartment working but the baffle stayed in the up position, hence no reverse or neutral. anyone have this issue before?

Sounds like a broken shift cable.

Do all boat manufacturer's typically have this many problems? I'm blown away every time a new post comes out. I highly doubt I will buy another scarab boat again unless they make some serious changes for the better

You know what's funny to me... yes all these problems, yet most of the items used in these boats are generic. BRP makes the engine, engine harness, shifter, shifter cables, cluster...etc. The windshield is made by Taylor Made...the tower and bimini made by XTP....its starting to remind me of the RV industry were everything is crap!
