Looking at a 2017 SX240 and AR240. Do these prices seem fair or should I keep looking? Price of boat with regular trailer. no accessories

SX240 OTD is $50,800
AR240 OTD is $53,900

What is tax rate where you live?

I think these prices are pretty high considering it is a left over model IMO.

Really just depends on the tax rate you should be able to pick up a AR240 for around 51k or a little less before taxes.

Sx240- $49,499 before any taxes or fees
AR240- $52,499 before any taxes and fees

Your not getting robbed by any stretch you could possibly save another grand or two its just up to you whether its worth the hassle or the travel to do so.

Im in richmond va. Is there a dealer I should be talking to? I thought it was ok pricing. I felt it shouldve been better but this is my first new boat, so I dont know what to expect.

I searched the country for the cheapest price, had them give me a paper quote... then I brought this to my dealer and told them to match it. I ended up paying about MSRP, but that included TTL (7% tax), galvanized trailer, all boat accessories (life jackets, bumpers, ropes, anchors, safety kit, Yamaha spray, fogging spray, etc.), Yamaha extended warranty, and $500 (which they matched, so $1000) worth of service, this also included lifetime warranty on the motors. This was a week before the '18s came out. By now the 17s should be a better deal.

Only 2 options here, Lynnhaven marine and lake country marine.
I bought mine at performance east in North Carolina and have had good luck with lake country doing my few warranty items.
Performance east is definitely just a boat/ATVs seller first and service second if you know what I mean.

Sorry I meant that I was getting 5yr warranty as well at the 53,900 otd price. Also galvanized trailer.
