hi there. we have a 2018 AR 240 windshield. Wondering if folks could share their thoughts and potential pics for a couple concerns we have. First one is we just noticed that when our middle windshield is open and we rest it against on the left hand windshield where it would go when open the rubber stoppers appear to line up funny. The top one hits just on the edge of the top frame and the bottom stopper hits on the rubber part outside the frame of the windshield. Can others share where their rubber stoppers hit on the other windshield- even share pics if not too inconvenient.

the other thing is drivers side front windshield shattered last weekend- Yamaha windshield is on back order til late august apparently. We had a Lexan windshield installed as a temporary measure and now the middle windshield wont even close properly. Prior to the lexan being installed the middle windshield would close. The frame appears to look exactly the same. Any thots?

Could you please post some pictures for us?

Boat is up in storage (so no pics and no direct verification), and I have a different year. But my bumper is right on the frame, I am pretty sure.

I agree that pics of yours would be useful. Strange that your starboard one shattered. That is not common (aside from being hit by a rock or something). Do you know why?

I am wondering if your frame is off/out of alignment and that caused the windshield to shatter and is the reason why the temp replacement doesn't fit right...

Tried to get some pics of the stoppers in on middle windshield. Unsure how to correct this misalignment. Ideas are appreciated. As well as middle wind shut before the lexan was put in the other side.

Mine is too much older than that to be of much use comparison-wise. Certainly does look off... Is the base of the windshield in the same spot against the hull? I mean, there should be a little raised/flat part where the windshield sits on the hull. Does it look like the windshield is the same distance from the edge of that flat part all the way around?

No the windshield is not the same distance.
It increasing gets to be a wider span as you move from the middle of the boat to the side of boat.
we dont know how to realign this middle windshield so the stoppers sit on the frame . Ideas?

I think I didn't express my question very well.

My idea is that the windshield is not set at the right spot on the hull (either part of it is too far forward/aft or a part of it is too far starboard/port). Probably a manufacturing defect--that the holes were not drilled in the right spot. That might cause the windshield not only to not line up, but would put stress on the glass in the windshield and make it more likely to shatter...

So, my question really is: where the windshield attaches to the hull, is there a part of the windshield that looks like it is too far forward/aft or port/starboard on that flat spot on the hull made to fit it? Granted, this may be rather hard to tell... But maybe looking between the port and the starboard sides you can see a difference?
