So I already have an Minn Kota Ulterra Trolling motor installed on the front left of my now. Absolutely love it, made fishing on the Puget Sound and local lakes and absolutely a blast. We bass fish, go crabbing and troll for salmon.

I want to take it the next level and add a removable platform over the bow seat area with the cushions removed. Place to stand at least and ideally maybe attach a swivel bass seat to it.

Has anyone tried anything like this? My first main concern is what material to construct the platform out of. I do have access to a decent amount of tools.

I dunno about building a platform.
I did this deck fitting and seat setup.

Yeah, you have tons of standing space on the FSH. Everyone always asks if they can stand on the seats. Really don't want on mine prematurely destroyed.
