Gps navigation charts built into connext too.

From the looks of it, sounds like it has something to do with the angle of the nozzles. There’s a video on the desktop version.

The 242x also got some sweet upgrades. Nice new 12in screen and a sunroof on the Bimini too!

Dangit Yamaha! You just made me want a new boat!

FSH finally gets cupholders! And a tiny connext screen?

WTF did they put a stainless grab handle? around the windshield on the 210FSH though? That seriously might be a deal breaker for me. I gotta take my windshield off alot to clear bridges. Doubt that pops off easily.

i'm interested in seeing the Surf Pointe

SurfPointe sounds like a modification of no-wake mode where it just lowers the bucket some to redirect the jet thrust. If you have a lot of aft ballast and you redirect thrust downward, it's going to make a pretty interesting divot right behind the boat. Maybe that's what's going on.

Did they put a real, full, serious Wet Sounds system in the 242X E-Series?

The surf pointe still looks like a lot if jet wash !! image.jpg

The grab rail looks to come off and just fill the holes. Or cut the grab rail and weld an insert pipe that goes down a few inches and use a quick release pin drilled through to secure it in place after the bridge.

...and a top speed of 42mph. Still gonna take a hard look at one, but I'm certainly not as excited as I was.

The jets must be much less efficient. I bet it burns more gas than the E-Series.

So, let me get this straight - Surfpoint is simply the nozzles permanently angled inward? Are they going to get a patent for that?

A patent pending innovative jet drive technology that enhances the surfability of the wake

I explained that to @swatski a while back using the 2 tie rods of my magnum a k system you could angle either nozzle inward toward the other to cross the jet thrust and create a wake but he felt it was too much air in the wake and since I do not wake surf I listen to the people who do. So I didn't give it any more thought but it appears that they are doing something similar.

Yeah thats what it says. What am I missing?
