I have the same on my 2020 212S, inquiring minds want to know.

They use the same pump on the boat as on a pwc and that is the damn rooster tail fitting that they have on the p w c's, I block mine before I ever use the ski .

What he said ☝

Your the first person I've seen post saying their's wasn't plugged. You want to replug it!

I am assuming if you don't plug it you're power washing the swim platform.

If you cap it make sure is can handle lots if pressure. I tried capping it on my jetski and first time out it blew it apart. Some have tapped it and put a threaded plug in it

under it, and wasting a small amount forward thrust as well

I have the exact same issue on my ‘19 242 x as well. Does anyone have a suggestion about how to plug this?

Yes use a small hose and clamp it to the fitting then fold it over and cable tie it folded over so nothing goes out the hose, when I do P W C's I remove the hose at the swim deck slide in a plastic wire nut and then reattach the clamp and hose to the deck fitting , works fine,

That tap is used for the raw water wash down on the FSH series of boats... on my boat only the starboard one is used, the port one looks to just have a bolt screwed down into it.
