Everyone, this will be the 12th, Annual Friends & Family Boaters Gathering. Perfect Dozen!

The Place: Lake Shelbyville, Illinois
The Dates: Wednesday, July 24, 2019 - Sunday, July 28, 2019

In the past, most of the participants have stayed at Lithia Resort ( Lithia Resort Home Page ) which is 1/4 mile from a public launch and the Lithia Springs Marina (Lithia Springs Marina Lake Shelbyville Shelbyville IL ), where you can rent a slip for the weekend (NOW TAKING RESERVATIONS). We will keep the running list of committed crews within this first post.

LOL. I really want it but I need to be financially responsible, so I promised Andrea we would wait and see how the first year of production goes and see where we are financially before we even consider it. NO fun, but wise!

I'm super happy seeing this thread start after spending 16 hours in my plow truck, and having to hop back in it in a few hours. Can't wait to see everyone!

If you call Lithia Resort and tell them you're with the Yamaha group they'll know exactly who you're talking about. If you want a slip you'll need to call Lithia Springs Marina. Info in Neil's first post. I hope to see you there!

Once lodging is confirmed, post back here and @OperationROL will add you to the first post. Then about a month out, he will send an email with info about buying shirts and a registration form for phone numbers and boat reg details. He has to file for a raftup permit and needs all the tag numbers for the boats.

It’s a great group. A little daunting the first time, but we’ll try let you know what to expect to help ease any concerns the mrs may have about meeting your “Internet friends”.

Neil,

Unless plans change, unfortunately we will not be able to attend this year. I appreciate the welcome that my family received last year, it is definitely something we will do again but I have an opportunity I cannot pass up.
