This is just an idea if people are interested...
I have a 2019 Yamaha 242x and hated the table pole just bouncing around in the ballast box. Two pipe clamps from Grainger did the trick! I reused the same 2 screws & washers & installed the clamps after drilling the clamp mount holes into 1/4" holes.

Oh & if anyone has the grill pole accessory made by JEWLS Customs I did the same thing with my Blackstone griddle pole, as seen in other picture. I also drilled mount holes into 1/4" holes. However that pole diameter was 2" so I used a different part number.
