I know a few members have them, my question is do those members have friends who have AR210”s/AR240”s/ even AR195”s that they can throw it on to verify fitment or not? Getting mixed answers from dealers. Want to know if anyone knows exactly what years and models it will fit on? Thanks gang, appreciate any and all input.

Supposedly 2015+ 24’ boats and 2017+ 21’ boats. Doesn’t fit the 19’ boats.

No one has tried the Wake Booster with a wakesurfer on any boat yet, only Yamaha.

The part of the boat where it is attached however is flat with a metal tie down loop on most all Yamaha boats.

I assume we are days to weeks away from seeing a member video of the Wake Booster and Slingshot wakesurf board being used together on a boat Yamaha lists as compatible.

Ya that “ Yamaha lists as comparable” is what I am curious about. Last I heard it would only fit 2017 212x and newer. I agree, you would think the hull mold is the same across the board for the series boat, but I just want to be sure.

I don't believe its a hull issue. It's the angle the tie down loop is at from what I am hearing.

Our Pre-2016 242 supposedly is at a different angle then the newer hulls. That would be a huge issue throwing the booster angle off. Although you may be able to mount it. But that would defeat the purpose.

I guess it just depends on how much it angles it and what the out come of that angle does to the wake. But first it needs to be able to line up enough to even be attached.

The only way to tell is to try it.

Until then it’s measuring tape and protractor.

The cost of any surf enhancing device is not so much reflected in the manufacturing the piece of metal / plastic tab or come between fins, but the crazy amount of knowledge and time tweaking these bits to work as intended...and then showing proof via video and customer reviews.

That said, there is not much incentive for Yamaha to create a $1K add on device that defeats the need for a new or near new 60K Yamaha boat.

I hear ya,
