We just picked up this 2020 Yamaha 242 SE with only 67 hours. We were told it ran like new, had been recently serviced and had new batteries. When we showed up it started alarming and said "CHECK ENGINE" the boat shop said it was due to bad batteries that had just been replaced and would clear once we took it out. Well...we took it out and once we started driving it said "CHECK ENGINE!" Stop Port Engine. The batteries had full charge. Engines run, although it didn't feel like we were gripping very well in reverse. We are told all the boat dealerships are booked out 3 months and they are the only ones that can read the diagnostics, hoping to get some help on here to hopefully fix it ourselves.
