Hello, does anybody know if there is a way to install RCA’s to the touchscreen head unit on a 2020 Yamaha AR 240? On our 2016 there was plugs on the back that were easy to plug-in, but on the back of the 2020 there is no plugs coming out of it to get outputs. I could hook to the back speakers but I’m wondering if there’s some sort of adapter or something I missing? Does anybody have any thoughts that could help? Thank you?

The touch screen is the remote. Radio on the stern is the HU. The AR does not have a amp as far as I know and I do not think they run the same harness as the limited or SX. So you will need to pull the HU out and see what harness the Fusion has. I will look for the part number.

on my 2019 ar240, both factory head unit (at stern) harnesses were cut....so no rca's and no amp remote power on wire...
had to buy these replacement harnesses:

Thank you for your help. Sorry I didn't get back here to say that earlier. I ordered the harness's you mentioned which game me 2 harnesses that allow for 4 different zones (2 each). I ordered them off of Amazon. They hook up to the head unit on the back of the boat like you said with just a simple plugin. It installed easily and made it quick to run the wires to the battery area for simple amp/sub hookup. I appreciate the help.

I ordered both harnesses, I know the harness with the RCAs on it goes in the that 3rd open slot but I can't figure out which harness I replace with this one. Do you have a picture after you wired everything back up?

So did you have to hard wire the RCA into the unit with this harness? Also did you hook the power amp to the House kill switch? I am getting ready to install my amp and would appreciate and feedback you have to offer. Thanks

Depends on your set up, if you are just adding speakers to the tower with a amp you only need the RCA harness. The amp power I wired to the house battery switch, to turn the amp on you will also need to wire in a “remote power” wire. I just stuck mine in the accessory fuse slot.

That entire process was super easy, running wires through the tower however was a project. I would send photos but my boat has been at the shop for 3+ months now
