2021 AR 210 water temp issue

Does anyone know where the water temp gets its reading from? Recently my boat has been showing readings that are off by almost 20 degrees. Last time I had it out it started off normal around 74 degrees and then while in motion it starting jumping up into the 90's. at first it would go back down if we sat for a few minutes but by the end of the day it was staying in the 90's. I'm just not sure where it gets the reading from.

I would assume the depth transducer gives both depth & temp. That's the way my GARMIN chartplotter is set up.

The same sensor is for temperature, depth, and speed. It's under the hull, near one of the intakes.
