The poet engine is dead to the start. Button

Ok saw pulled the wires from the port to the start engine. Just the start switch it will crank but no fire

Working through it now. I am I am not at home so I don’t have all my tools. I just got a multi meter so that will help. What I did was swap the power unit from port to stbd no change. Then I swapped the starter solenoid and the engine will turn over but it wasn’t firing so it’s had to be a blown fuse. But there are so many inline fuses the more I look the more I find.

Yeah. One of the first things I did was stock my boat with a mini set of tools. Screwdrivers, socket set, pliers, needle nose, gloves... Very frustrating to not have your tools. Don't have a multimeter (yet).

Unfortunately can't give you too much guidance on the fuses in the 2021... but perhaps someone else can. If you don't have your tools, I assume you don't have a service manual with you either. ;)

So here’s what I found

I bought the boat brand new and I noticed the fuse cover was off for some reason

So I completely cleaned everything up really well but two of the prongs were so corroded they can off. I am going to try and solder two on before buying another

Have you priced out a new one yet and is it available?
I would be worried that and poor connection could cause improper voltages and short out something like the connext

Or the ECU.

And, when I clean up something like that, it tends to remain sensitive to bumps and jolts (connecting and disconnecting). Probably not good for the circuit with, say, the nav lights on it... Or the connext or ECU...

That said... looks like $250-300 from a quick look online. Owch.

250 to 300 is worth it

Not disagreeing. Just owching. Can't even get a connext these days; an ECU is in the thousands...

300 is a lot better than 3000 or more.
