2021 sx195 svho rattle

Just took my 2021 sx195 out for its maiden voyage today and immediately noticed some annoying rattling noise while it’s running. It’s not like ridiculously loud but enough to be annoying and make me wonder what it is. It runs perfectly fine. Just wondering if anyone else has noticed something like this with the svho motor.

Is it the motor itself or something around the motor or the boat?

To me it sounds like the motor. I opened the hatch and I could hear it. Almost the way a motor sounds when it is detonating. I sure hope it’s nothing like that considering it was the first time it was started by me.

I have 3 svho’s. 2 in boat 1 in ski. None of them really rattle. Is it just at idle or through the rpm range? Does it get faster when rpms increase?

Kind of just the entire time. Could it be the jet drive maybe? Just hoping it’s normal.

First question have you ever had a jet boat or ski? If not I think you are worrried about nothing, if you are not used to the sound the engines makes. Especially with the hatch open, they vibrate around a little bit, my 195 does the same thing. My 2 sea doos also did the same thing, it startled me at first but that was because I had never heard a jet ski or boat run before.

When you open the hatch it does not sound well, this is normal. Turn your music up, lol. On a serious note when up and running I never hear this sound.
