2021 Yamaha 252 SD Shower Pump Help

Anyone out there know how to turn on the shower pump on a 2021 Yamaha 252 SD? The first pic below is what the book says and the second pic is reality! And no, hitting Helm does not activate the shower but it does turn on my helm lights, so I got that going for me...any and all ideas are appreciated.

Stupid question, but did you fill the tank? . Prrss the shower at the helm but you have to press the shower button at the end of the hose

Mine wasn't working because the hose was kinked.

Can you scroll right or left? Took for a bit to figure out some items are just off the screen. Probably not it, but worth a try. Check the pump connection to the connext. Check fuse. Check for correct firmware. Maybe others with same model can verify which is the correct firmware.

No stupid questions and yes, the tank is filled. I just went out and turned the helm switch on (helm lights came on) but still no water at the shower when button is pressed. I have my first maintenance scheduled for next week so hopefully will get an answer then, but in the interim, keep the suggestions coming.

Confirmed the hose is not kinked and is connected to the tank (you never know LOL). Did you have a dedicated SHOWER switch?

Yeah, no scrolling unfortunately. I'm thinking a firmware issue so will hopefully find out next week when I go in for my first service. Was hoping another 252 user was out there for some comparisons but these boats are so new, they are still few and far in between I guess. Heck, Yamaha does not even have a 252 group on their forums yet...

while i dont have a 25, i do have a 2021 sd and we have the same enovation connext screen. everything should be almost identical and i have an actual shower button like you see in the manual

Thanks...do you have helm lights? If so, how do you turn them on? I go in next week for my first service so just trying to have as much info as I can for them.

i prob wont be down to my boat until sunday. i can get a picture for you then. i do have a helm button also which turns on all the blue edge lights on the dash.

Sorry for all of the questions but is your helm button on the same screen in a similar location? I can't find anything in the book speaking to the helm lights and where that button should be (was thinking maybe they were switched for whatever reason).

I have the shower button. A few of the bottoms are at the top IIRC, like Tower.

Interesting...sounds like I need a software update. Hopefully the dealer can do that...thanks!

Thanks for the pic...looks like an update is required. Good to know I'm not crazy or reading illiterate LOL. Just in case anyone else runs into this or similar issues, I'll update everyone after I drop it off at my dealer next week for service.

Ask them if they can turn on the Tower speaker zone too
