Here is a table I put together of all the Yamaha boats, their lengths, Model names (ones right justified are "new" models with new features), MSRP etc.

At the top you will see their letter coding for features. A #5 at the end of the model # indicates it has their 1.8L Super Charged engine(s).

The 255XD is a pretty pricey boat that is definitely going to bump up against many of the competition. Given it is trying to be a wake boat, it will be interesting to see how well it does stock. What it does have against the wake boats is it is FAR more versatile. It can go 55mph (not many wake boats will come close to that), and the draft and stern layout will be much more appealing to a wide range of buyers.

I was pleasantly surprised by the price of the 255E FSH Sport center console at $76,999. I think that will be a really interesting option for many, and finally with 111 Gallon fuel capacity this will be much more appealing. We'll have to see how much those SVHO engines drink. At $69,799 the no SVHO is also quite appealing although it doesn't have the E-Series throttles which I would miss.

8/20 Updated to change 210 FSH models to TR-1s
8/21 Updated to add Hard top column, and Under water lights for 27' boats
10/28 Updated with info from Yamaha to confirm 25' boats all have 75 Gallon tanks not 70 as they previously reported.

Bruce and I had a discussion about the HP ratings of these engines. Yamaha often doesn't release their HP ratings, so the above HP are very much in dispute!
1.8L boats have been listed as 180HP and 200hp in different places
The TR-1s have been listed as low as 100hp, 115hp, 120 and 130hp

I went with the higher on them all. Feel free to disagree....

@Julian Did you happen to see or did they release range and burn rates and the 25' footers for each one? I am sure the weight will also diminish.

Not seen any fuel burn info. Yamaha tends not to release that....boattest.com is the only place I've seen publish it reliably.

Noticed in the specs, the 1.8 are listed as holding 5.3L of oil (5.6 quarts). I thought prior years it was 4Qts, so appears there are some changes to the 1.8's.

Kinda disappointing that the wake series 21' didn't get a SC engine. That would've been fun!

Hmm they listed the length of the 25 FSH at 19’5 in lenth I’m guessing it probably the same hull at 24’6” with other 250’s? I like it a lot more than I thought I was going to like it unfortunately after having a 30 foot boat now I don’t know if I can go back to the 25

Julian fat fingered....drag and fill mistake

Certainly glad I have my 2019 SX190. I don't know how I feel that they are taking out the 1.8 and putting in the TR1. With 1.8 I'm lucky to see 38mph. With the TR1 top speed is gonna be a lot lower

Thats a mistake too....fixed a lot more.....sorry....was late when I did this clearly!!!

Is that HP rounded? I always thought the 1.8’s produced 360, not 400? Or, are they tuned over previous years?

No worries, understandable. Great work with feeding this hungry community!

Normally we get the info a lot earlier....we only got the material on Monday afternoon!

Now we just need Scarab etc to start getting us more info!!!

It was also listed as 5+ in some of my 2019 specs. Don't know why, never heard of anyone getting over 4 qt out of the engine. I'm not sure what the line Engine oil total quantity actually means. Compared to line below.

That's the right approach! Thanks for putting that spreadsheet together.

Are you aware of any tweaks that Yamaha made to the (non SVHO) 1.8L boats that would push more HP out of them for 2021?

I am not aware of ANY changes to the 1.8s. Someone posted on another thread that they thought the Oil quantity went up....I honestly can''t see them making any real changes to them.
