Alright guys I’m looking for some info on which tower models will fit folded in a 8’ door without unhooking it from my truck.

AR210, according to Yamaha specs this is the only one that will fit.

212 Limited S and 212X, I’m assuming have the same tower design and the same height.

AR240

The 24’ boats have a little more freeboard than the 21’ boats so they will sit higher overall. Can the tower mod help drop it lower below or even with the glass?

I have backed our ar240 in the garage with my truck before and pulled it out. I just got used to using the winch when we had are old garage door and our sx210 so that's the way I still do it. If I remember this summer I plan on painting a yellow line on the garage floor so I can back the boat in

Hmmm. After more info it’s looking like a AR210 or a AR240 then.

Thanks, so it sounds like a AR240 is an option then.

With modification it appears all the models in my original question will fit!

Does your driveway go uphill or downhill as it approaches the garage? This can make a huge difference in clearance. Ideally you want the driveway to slope downward so the truck is lower than the boat. Just keep this in mind if you are dead set on not disconnecting the trailer from the truck when backing into the garage.

Yeah, my house is uphill, so the truck will be lower than the boat.
