Has anyone came up with a solution for the Jet wash system? I hate having to wait until the boat is running on plane just to have enough pressure to use. There has got to be a way to connect a normal raw water washdown without too much work?

The only way to get a good wash down on our boat is use the starboard engine Only. Cut A end off of a 4” fire hose and use 2 pipe clamps to secure it over the jet nozzle. You can open flow it or put a nozzle on the other end. It offers a good flow at idle your boat will stay in place and if you run WOT you got enough water to flush your boat out in about three seconds.
on a side note you might sink.
The stock jet wash sucks. You can just use the starboard engine and drive in a circle to get more pressure. I’m not sure but I believe in neutral you can hit the no wake button an idol up some but I’m not sure.

@Foobar and others have put a fresh water washdown option using the livewell. You could theoretically use that as raw or fresh depending on how you hook it up. I haven't really used the jet wash more than a couple times, and really just to demonstrate more than anything.

Im hoping to add another pump to the livewell pick up and just plumb it to existing hose. Just not sure how feasible or easy it would be.

I never got my hose with my 190 fsh sport. I'm going to try the hose clamps. I have a hose that fits other wash systems. The original that comes with the boat is not available for purchase.

I think its fun to use the washdown for a minute or two, then look up and try and figure out where you are!

Mine is a 2020 and I can ramp the engine speed up my tapping the jetwash button a few times. I would like to replace mine with an electric pump but its down on the list of priorities. I usually just use a 5 gallon bucket to wash off fish blood and gunk the cast net pulls up.
