pulled my 2008 212x out of storage. Cleaned it up and first summer ride last night. The stereo is not working and neither are any of the dash switches. Gauges are working though. Any help is appreciated.

It's been awhile since I looked at our wire diagram but I think you may have a small black (negative) wire not hooked up.
If not that check the fuses.

Hey buck. Thanks. Any idea where said black wire is approximately?

Check to see if there is a fuse mounted on the bulkhead wall near the battery switch. It would be in a small black fuse holder.

As @Gym stated, check the fuse near the battery first. There may be 2. Your boat did not come with a battery switch but one may have been added. Below are the four negative wires that came stock from Yamaha. Make sure all four are securely strapped down. They actually go on the battery terminal. Mine are shown disconnected for troubleshooting.IMG_2310rev1.jpg

Great. I’ll check all that out this afternoon. Will post later if it solves the issue or not. Thanks!

Figured it out. It was simple. Just had one of the wires hooked up to the negative terminal instead of the positive. Simple mistake. Thanks again all.
