So Since the rain wont freaking stop here in Not So Sunny Saint Pete, I pulled my boat out of the swamp...Yard I keep it in to do a couple minor maint items...I figured I would go ahead and run the engines on the hose for a bit...
Port ran fine, Starboard ran fine...but during the Port Run I heard an odd clicking sound so I started rummaging around, got down to my factory dual battery setup and when I put my hand on it, the clicking was coming from that. Didn't happen with the other engine, just port. At best guess, I think it was the relay opening and closing over and over that connects the motors to the two batteries when the motors start pushing electricity.
Not sure what that means? Possibly that my port is not charging? I didn't have the accessory switch on.
Also, when the clicking was happening first thing I tried was turning on the emergency parallel and that killed the clicking sound. Any insight appreciated.
