Curious about the brakes on the 24' trailers....are they electric or surge?

Surge w/ 5 pin wiring (disables when in reverse).

And only one axle. The dealer added the second axle brakes by request for the price of the parts. I tow a lot. Probable have 7k miles in the past year. Stops on a dime. Plenty of states including my home state and my future home state require all axles to have brakes.

honestly didn't feel the need for brakes on second axle. did a fine job of stopping...i never felt nervous
