Finally got the SeaDek installed from the group buy last fall from Will & Team over @JetBoatPilot. The wife and I love the new look! We are also looking forward to not dealing with hanging soaked carpets every weekend! We also decided to switch out the cushions on the swim platform to SeaDek as well because the kids & dogs just turned them into sponges with all the water that gets dumped on them.

Awesome product Will!!! Thanks for the great price & service as always!!

Looks awesome! if you zoom in on the surf mirror, there a shot of you taking the shot of the boat. I zoomed in because I'm in the marker for a mirror myself.

Ah yes I am in there. I can recommend that mirror! It is the Samson sports mirror for the 242 L/S. It gives you a huge rear view across the whole wake and out to the sides. It is also easily adjustable between my wife and I (I'm 6'5" & she is 5'4"). Yes it is pricey but man it looks awesome and also looks like it was meant for the tower. Get the stainless steal handle though, the plastic one it came with broke the 2nd year we had it. Honestly I don't know why it isn't standard for that mirror.

We also love the spinning board rack as well. Trying to convince the wife we need one on the drivers side now to "even" out the boat. Then we can empty the ski locker and put in surf ballast!! Ahh, the never ending BOAT upgrade/mod list...

Great job with the install! Looks good!!!

Wow that looks awesome.

I already have one of those racks too. I also just ordered the mirror, thanks for the recommendation!

Flooring looks really cool. This is one of the best looking installs I have seen.

Wow that looks great.

Awsome - like your pictures and I am thinking about removing the seat bottoms on my swim platform so thanks for sharing !

I did not fill the holes in the swim platform for the cushion bolts. I figure if I want to add them back at anytime I can just cut out the bolt holes in the SeaDek and put them on anytime I felt I needed them over the more kid / dog friendly swim area. It is not like having the holes filled prevents water from getting under the hatch. Although open holes might pose a toe hazard...

a word of caution, I have installed the SeaDek in my boat as well, and there is a strip in the cockpit on either side of the gas cover that does not have SeaDek on it. Last weekend I nearly took a bad fall when my wet foot hit the bare fiberglass. I have contacted Will and as soon as I can get some pictures and a template to him he is going to see about creating a piece to go there. The only reason I stepped that far to the side was because we had the table installed. I didn't get really hurt, but very easily could have. So be careful and be aware.

Now that we know that there is a need for that mat I will try to see if we can nest those new parts into kits moving forward.

@Jackew that install looks great!

Thanks @JetBoatPilot - also thanks for taking all my text and making my order right!

I was coursious - why does the kit include the areas like the anchor lid decking - it is the same that came with boat and are just extras ???

I think the modification really adds to my new boat!

Matches it perfect @webbug !!! It is the same as the factory product from what I've been told. It is awesome!

Great looking install @Jackew! We love it in our boat. Everyone that has been on the boat before the Seadek comments on how much better it looks then before. Looks great, feels great & no soaking wet carpets to worry about ever again!!!!

@Jackew The extra mats are there because the factory mats are cut slightly different than ours. You may not notice but our lines line up with one another and the factory lines are slightly offset.

Looks great. It's amazing how much seadek changes the appearance of the interior in these boats. @Jackew , let us know how hot the mats get in the cockpit. I've been considering the install but worried about the dark color in an area that doesn't typically get wet.
