What model/year boat? I had to go front bar to avoid drilling holes at the bottom of the tower. (2020 AR240). The tower on my boat folds down with the quick disconnects, there is a small hole/gap into the tower tube on both sides. The starboard side had the anchor light wiring, I went up the port side, amp is in battery compartment on the port side, only thing it powers are the tower speakers so it made life easier than putting the amp in the helm storage compartment. There is also a hole in the mount that drops straight into the battery compartment. I bent two coat hangers straight, duct tapped the shit out of them together so I didn’t loose a hanger and snaked it up. I’ve heard twisting strands of bailing wire together with a drill works well. I clipped of a 6 inch or so section of a coat hanger and made into a little hook the fish the end of the coat hanger out of the holes I made in the tower for the speakers.
From a quick google search it looks like your tower folds down like mine, not sure if the pictures I found were actually your model boat but they were labeled as such. When you fold the tower down look at the starboard side, you should see the spot the anchor light wire runs up. You can try running them up that side if the amp is going in the helm compartment, if there is also a hole on the port side of tower and the amp is only powering the tower speakers it might be easier to put the amp in the battery compartment (assuming the batteries are in the port storage area). Running two sets of 14 gauge speaker wire and a 12v power/ground for my tower LEDs was very tight, took several tries, the hole in the bottom of the tower is pretty small and awkward to get to.
