242 rear seat filler cushion

Did the 2015 242's come with a filler cushion for the walkway area from the cockpit to the stern? I bought my boat used, and it doesn't have one.

My '16 242X did come with one-
It may just be in the garage of the seller.
It doesn't get used often so it may have disqualified itself from on-boat storage-

That's what I thought. I asked seller and he said it should be on the boat. Must of disappeared while he owned it. Bummer.

Sounds silly, but that starboard stern locker goes way to the back.
That is the locker that I've always thrown mine into.
Look way to the stern with a flashlight...

Mine is in a box in the garage....in the same place the center cushion from my SX230 was.....which is where I found it after driving 10 hours to drop it off!! Had to ship it to the buyer! D'Oh!

Never used it on the SX230 or the 242. Use your new boat for a while (congrats btw), before you put $150ish into the replacement cushion. I suspect a few months from now you will be able or need to say to your spouse, "I saved $150 by not buying the cushion, but we really need a new INSERT YOUR BOAT TOY OF CHOICE HERE"

It was a needed item for me as well I can't recall who I ordered it from it was either Part Pak or Yamaha sports plaza as my boat didn't have one with it as well.

My wife didn't snap our down one time ( i blame her) and it flew right out the back while WOT running from a storm. I have learned to live without based on the price of a new one!

@MattFX4 if your just looking for function and don't car about looks jetboat pilot has one from a 2015 AR240 on clearance for $50 but it may not match your interior colors.

Looks like another preference concern. I took mine out From the get go because of all the in and out traffic from tubing/boarding etc... funny part is I never used it and when I reupholstered the boat that got done as well just so it would match.

I purchased boat last March. Used it all summer and wished I had the filler cushion when I had a boat load of people.

I may order this. Throw it in storage compartment and only pull out when I have multiple guest on board who want to sit across the back bench seat. Not bad for $50.

I may change my mind after installing my SeaDek. I have the piece that covers the engine hatch step where the cushion would go.

I installed that seadek piece and the cushion fits right over the top of it. I do the same thing you mentioned the seat stays in storage except when in use for someone in back if he would have had one on sale for $50 I would have ordered it especially now knowing that the only time it is out someone is sitting on it. The second we stop at an island or something it gets thrown right back into storage as the walk through is needed so its really only there when underway and someone is sitting on it.

@MattFX4 I never used mine. Will sell for $75 and will cover shipping. I have same boat in Gray, so should match color wise.
