242X or E-Series Dash - Fume detector location?

OK...so one of my first mods on the new boat will be to install a Fume detector with blower control. Easy install...but wondering where I'd put the 2" round gauge. I like the this safety mod as it will notify me if fumes are present (which happened once in my old boat while refueling)...
