Anyone order a 27 footer yet?

For that price you can have it. So many other options out there in this price range. Yamaha is nuts!

Yes people are lining up knocking down the dealers doors for it I’m sure lol

I got my NEW 2018 AR240 last year with $1000 rebate, 5yr warranty (FREE) and the financing. Fully loaded, turn key boat with galvanized trailer and brakes on both axles (law in CT) for like 58K out the door after all the tax, freight etc. This year the AR240 costs almost 4K more and the color schemes ain't nothing special, but I digress. This new 27FT give us nothing more than a bigger version of the 24ft boats which in my opinion are plenty big enough. Was hoping for something with a cuddy cabin at least and possibly a real toilet. I gotta say for what it is I'd think the boat was maybe priced around 85K and topping out at 100K for the best model. The 242X has far more tech with ballast system etc and looks much nicer inside and out. So in my mind this new boat is essentially more than double the price of my boat and is basically 3ft longer and a little wider. Again I feel the 24ft is plenty big enough for my family and friends and for the money you can't beat it.

Just my 2c

Apparently they make only something like 60 units this year, so I don’t think it’s about profit, and maybe more about visibility - which I guess that did get out of it. So I guess it’s more of a marketing stick?

Yeah. No thanks. Love the yammie boats but that price is rediculous.
